On what types of structures can I fix AQUAPANEL®?

Knauf Exterior Wall with AQUAPANEL® Technology is most commonly used in two basic types of projects:

  1. As drywall in skeleton constructions (e.g. reinforced concrete and steel construction), anchored in self-supporting substructures, usually made of galvanized steel or wood.
  2. As a rear-ventilated rain screen façade for use above solid substructures such as brick, concrete and wood.  

In both cases, the primary construction is carrying the structural load, while the lightweight Knauf Wall Solution carries their own dead weight and the wind loads.
