Do you need to use joint filler and joint filler tape with AQUAPANEL® Outdoor panels?

Yes. To reach the performance of the Knauf Exterior Wall, the joints of AQUAPANEL® Cement Board Outdoor should be treated with those products.

When a coat of paint instead of render finish is going to be applied on the AQUAPANEL® Exterior Basecoat or AQUAPANEL® Exterior Basecoat – white, we recommend the use of AQUAPANEL® Exterior Reinforcing Tape (20cm) instead of AQUAPANEL® Tape (10 cm).
