In 2020, the J'Ever Family Tower in Korea was completed. It was very important to the investor and owner of the building Mr. Jongam Lee, that the building is a mixture of commercial and private use. The lower floors are intended for commercial use and on the higher floors the building accommodates two luxury flats.

During the design phase, Mr. Lee was very focused on the design details. With the help of curved shapes, he wanted to give the J'Ever Family Tower a modern appearance. It was also important to the owner that as few expansion joints as possible interrupt the design, without reducing the stability and weather resistance of the building. A suitable solution was sought that would fit both, the design and ideas of the owner and the requirements of the building.

AQUAPANEL^® Cement Board Outdoor was able to meet all requirements, making it the ideal solution for the J'Ever Family Tower. With a bending radius of three meters (full board size), AQUAPANEL^® Cement Board Outdoor perfectly matches the curved shapes of the creative design, giving the building a lively, modern look. In addition, AQUAPANEL^® Cement Board Outdoor provides even more design flexibility, because expansion joints only had to be installed every 15 meters. This allows a continuous area of up to 250 m², which still tolerates weather-related expansion and shrinkage. Thus, the interruptions in the building's appearance could be kept as small as possible.

During the construction phase, our application team provided on-site installation training. They explained the specific properties of AQUAPANEL^® Cement Boards in detail, which later ensured optimal implementation.
